Sprinklers and drip where you want water, French drains and grading to move it away from where you don’t.

Water is the part of a landscape that is easiest to overlook and hardest to fix later. A good irrigation system keeps lawn and planting healthy without wasting water, and good drainage keeps water away from foundations, walls and patios. We install sprinkler and drip systems, French drains and the grading that moves water where it should go, and we plan them with the landscape and hardscape so lines and drains are in place before the finished surfaces go in. Utah's dry summers and spring runoff both make this work worth getting right.

FAQ

Common questions

Can you add irrigation to an existing landscape?
Yes. We can add or rework zones in an existing yard; how much digging is involved depends on the layout.
What is the difference between drip and sprinklers?
Sprinklers are typically used for lawn. Drip works well for beds, shrubs and trees because it delivers water at the roots.
How do I know if I need a French drain?
Common signs are standing water, soggy areas that do not dry out, or water collecting near the foundation. We look at where the water is coming from before recommending a fix.
Should irrigation go in before the landscape?
Usually, yes. Lines are much easier to run before planting, lawn and hardscape are in place.
Can drainage and grading be done together?
Yes, the two often go together: grading moves surface water, and drains handle what collects.
