Patios, pergolas, outdoor kitchens and fire features built for the time you spend outside.

Outdoor living is about making the yard a place people actually use: somewhere to cook, eat, sit by a fire or get out of the afternoon sun. We plan these spaces around how you want to spend time outside and build them together with the patios, walls, grading and landscape around them, so each piece fits the next. Below are the main kinds of outdoor living work we take on. Photos for several of them are still being gathered, and at the end of the page there is a short clip of a water feature from one of our projects.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you build pergolas and covered patios?
Yes. Pergolas and covers are part of our outdoor living work, and they are often built together with the patio underneath.
Can outdoor living be added to an existing patio?
Often, yes. We look at the existing slab and layout during the consultation to see what it can support.
Do outdoor kitchens and fire features need gas or electrical work?
Many do. Gas, electrical and water lines are planned early so they can be run before the finished surfaces go in.
Do covers and pergolas need a permit?
Some structures can require a permit depending on their size and your city. We will talk through what applies to your project.
Can you build a water feature like the one on this page?
Yes. Water features can be built into walls and planting areas; we will talk about the look, the location and the plumbing it needs.
